Lewisburg, WV (May 6, 2014) - The Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is hosting a new exhibit featuring fiber artist Suzanne Williams, during the month of May as part of the CVB's rotating Art in the Valley exhibit.
Williams works with silk and natural fibers as well as "found" objects to create paper and fabric which becomes the base of her artwork. She has been passionate about fiber art and needlepoint since childhood and uses nature as her primary subject matter.
Art in the Valley was designed to provide an outlet for artists within the four-county region of Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe and Summers Counties to display their work, which rotates on a monthly basis. Artists must complete an application which is then vetted through the CVB.
Williams' artwork will be on display through May 31st.
The Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center is located at 200 West Washington Street in downtown Lewisburg. and is open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm and Sunday, 12-5pm.
